The TAB report provides a comprehensive overview of the state of development as well as the possible applications of bacteriophages in medicine, agriculture and the food industry and analyses the different regulatory framework conditions. From this, scientific-technical, economic, innovation policy and legal challenges and options for action to promote and further develop phage use are derived and described in detail. The TAB report thus provides an up-to-date and well-founded basis of information on this important topic area in terms of research, health, agriculture and environmental policy.
