Project explores the issues related to non-native animal and plant species that are accidentally or deliberately introduced by human action into an area in which they would not occur naturally. Some of them become invasive and affect native species and the ecology of habitats. The author discusses the risks posed by such species and the European and Polish policy frameworks and measures for addressing these risks
