Transforming the energy mix
Achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 requires a profound and accelerated transformation of energy systems. This transition involves not only a reconfiguration of the energy mix, but also far-reaching technological consequences stemming from the choices made, as well as the crucial issue of social acceptability. The project addresses the following threee topics: Reconfiguring the Energy Mix for Climate Neutrality; Technological Consequences of the Transition; and Social Acceptability and Political Sustainability. Contributions written by EPTA members describe describe and reflect on the situation/events/activities in their country/parliaments.
