Team Sweden is a collaborative structure established in 2015 to support the business sector’s export and internationalisation. Within the framework of Team Sweden, government agencies, state-owned companies, and publicly funded organisations cooperate. In May 2025, the Committee on Industry and Trade decided to conduct a follow-up on Team Sweden, with a particular focus on the benefits the collaborative structure has had for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-up companies. An important point of departure for the follow-up is to examine how the funds allocated by the Riksdag for export and investment promotion have been used, and to what extent Team Sweden has contributed to achieving the overall objective for foreign trade, export, and investment promotion as decided by the Riksdag.
