Regulatory Impact Assessment, understood as a complex, analytical process that allows to precisely define all the consequences of planned law-making activities, has for many years been an important element of the regulatory policy of developed countries, as well as the European Union as a legislator. Everywhere, however, the need for its improvement and proper use in the decision-making process is emphasized.
