These are the issues that Mr Denis Baupin, MP, and Mrs. Fabienne Keller, Senator, have placed at the centre of their report, which highlights the fact that vehicles must be conceptualized differently. The rapporteurs stress that, in the context of a decrease in demand for cars, mobility needs must become the guidelines. The approach must be respectful of the environment and health, while being dynamic, so as not to have negative effects on employment and foreign trade.
