EPTA Annual Conference 2003

Research involving human beings
Berne, October 27th and 28th, 2003
The EPTA Conference is an annual event hosted by the EPTA Presidency. In 2003, the Swiss Center for Technology Assessment TA-SWISS hosted the conference at the Bernerhof, Bern.
The EPTA conference provided an opportunity for Parliamentarians and officials from different countries to come together and share experiences and expertise in providing advice on science and technology issues to Parliaments. In 2003, the overarching theme of the conference was "Research involving human beings". By bringing people together, the conference enabled people to network and make useful contacts that could inform their future work.
